Easing of measures during the week
We have decided to ease our measures from 4pm Sunday to 4pm Friday.
You no longer need to pre-book a table or pre-order your food between the above times. We will be staggering food orders to ease the demand on the kitchen, but our capacity means that you should be able to get a table and order some food in good time during our normal food service hours.
From FRIDAY 4pm until SUNDAY 4pm, you should still try to pre-book a table by emailing your name and phone number to book.thesquirrel@gmail.com. You will then get a phone call and will be offered available 2 hour time slots at an allocated table. You may be able to order food subject to revised food service times and demand on the kitchen. Drinks and food will be served to your table. We have 6 indoor tables and 18 outdoor tables. The outdoor tables have large umbrellas and there is a small marquee. We will stagger arrival and departure times to 6 people every 15 minutes.
If you arrive without a booking, you may need to queue at the front of the building and may be served through the front porch. If you are sitting in our front garden or on the common you will be served in polycarbonate glasses. You may not be able to order food but may bring your own. Please bring deck chairs or picnic blankets and wet weather clothing. Please put your rubbish in the bins and the glasses on the blue table before you leave.
